“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (Matthew 6:19-21)
The 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is one of the coolest cars I’ve ever seen. And the exciting thing is that they are affordable. In a world where sports cars such as Ferraris and Lamborghinis cost so much money that only the super rich can afford to buy one, the muscle cars of the 60’s and 70’s are just as cool looking as any Italian sports car but often cost no more than the average new automobile at your local car dealership.
Searching Ebay recently I happened to find a red Mach 1 located only 2 ½ hours from where I live. To buy it, all I would have needed to do was to have gone to my bank, gotten a car loan, had my wife drive with me down there, given the man the money, and then had my wife follow me home in my very own 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1.
But God said not to store up treasures on Earth. He said I should, instead, store up treasures in heaven.
